First one coming in July!

More details here!

Some photos from the last workshop:

Long time no update!

I was on Bild magazine last week, for the occasion of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Israel & Germany. They wrote a bit about me and my connection to Hamburg. The blog was also mentioned!

And… my lovely steam boat photo plus a cherry blossom photo from Stadtpark were on this lovely Hamburg website:

It has been awhile since something was updated here!

This lovely photo of mine – showing a steam boat crossing the Binnenalster, was featured this week at the webpage of and on its Facebook page as well. In addition it was selected as “IG of the Day” at IG.HAMBURG Instagram account!

  • Happy to announce my first Israeli vegan cooking evening at HappenPappen:

The first workshop is almost sold out and will take place on 25.11.2013 – Monday. Second workshop is on December 16th.

For more information and registration visit HappenPappen info page.

Chocolate Balls will be part of the menu… 🙂

  • My IG friend Markus created this beautiful GIF with my 100 photos challenge:

  • A photo of me from the last Critical Mass Hamburg (26.07.2013) – was pouring rain but did not stop us and 3000 more people! – the picture is from Rene S.:

  • The Facebook page of / Hamburg – meine Stadt used of of my Planetarium photos for a section on my neighborhood, Barmbek. Made me proud!

  • Next month, September, I will host an Instagram Walk at the old Jewish Cemetery of Altona – if you’d like to join please email me: – [and you better have an IG account…]

  • My 100 photos challenge, taken regularly from Schwanenwik
  • My Instawalk tour in Grindel. the old Jewish quarter 02.06.2013 – last week I had the pleasure of hosting a Grindel tour for a group of lovely talented Instagramers from Hamburg. I lectured about the history of the Jewish community of Hamburg before World War 2 while we were walking in the area that was the heart of its cultural and spiritual life.
  • The wonderful Asaf Avidan had a concert in Hamburg at the end of May. The location, Grünspan, was packed and it seems that the German crowd was really enjoying the charming awkwardness of Avidan and his special music.

  • Critical Mass Hamburg – Last week I finally had the pleasure of joining one of the coolest initiatives in Hamburg. Critical Mass is promoting mass bike riding at the last Friday of every month. Good atmosphere, music, colorful people of all ages and backgrounds and 4-5 hours bike ride in the main streets of Hamburg. Will definitely join this bike party more often!

And some photos:

This photo was featured on the Facebook of / Hamburg – meine Stadt

Within 2 days it reached more than 10,000 likes and made me very proud!
